The Ontario Police Department has two awesome events coming up! Each one caters to a specific age group and are equally as engaging.
The first upcoming event is the Bicycle Safety Rodeo which already had one event date on July 24, 2021 and will be hosting another one on August 28, 2021. This event is for children ages 5-12 and they will learn bicycle riding correct techniques and safety skills as well as receiving a FREE HELMET! If you have children in car seats, you can also register for a free car seat inspection with an appointment. The second event hosted by the Ontario Police Department is their Citizens Academy. Anyone over the age of 18 can join Wednesdays August 25-October 27, 2021. This 10 week program will cover topics like air support unit, dispatch, firearm safety, forensics, and much more.
